When you want to do something but don’t really have any idea how to do it, do you automatically go to YouTube and search for “How-to” videos?

Did you know that you can speed them up? In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to save time when you’re on YouTube so you can get the information you need faster.

Speed up videos on YouTube

You’re looking for information, and you want that information NOW. Get the info you need faster by speeding up the video you’re watching. Change YouTube Speed with the Cog

  1. Choose a video.
  2. Click on the cog at the bottom right.
  3. Click on Speed, and choose the speed you want it to play.

You can choose to make it go faster or slow it down – it all depends on how fast the person on the video is talking.

By the way, this only works on the desktop. If you’re on mobile, you can force it to play in the desktop version or you can use a third-party app to play YouTube videos at a faster rate.

I’ve found this tip to be very helpful a number of times. Go ahead and try it!
