Back in 2019, Glide Gear had a wonderful teleprompter that you could mount to your computer monitor. It wasn’t perfect, but it was good. Unfortunately, they discontinued it.

I compared the Glide Gear and the Bodelin teleprompters, and you can still watch a video about the differences.

1) Glide Gear works fine for just teleprompting (white text on a black screen.)

2) Bodelin works much better to see “eye to eye” by projecting the image during a video call on Skype or Zoom.

You can see the difference in the photos above. The top image is the reflection in front of the webcam – this is where you want to look. The Glide Gear glass does not reflect enough of the image to make it viable to look into your client’s eyes while also looking into the camera.
